Bio
Built from a lifetime of pursuing a relationship with Christ while spending decades in performance, coaching, and championship culture.
I’ve spent my career developing athletes, building programs, and leading teams across high school, collegiate, and professional environments. My focus has always been simple: train what matters, lead with clarity, and create systems that produce consistent results.
Throughout my career I’ve served as a head football coach, strength and conditioning coordinator, collegiate defensive coordinator, and athletic performance leader within multiple programs. I’ve also spent time in an NFL strength and conditioning environment and have been part of leadership cultures shaped by respected leaders in the game. I continue developing practical training solutions through HydroPro Training Technologies.
These experiences reinforced a lesson that extends far beyond athletics: great cultures are built intentionally, and strong leadership develops people—not just performance.
My passion for leadership and development began early. I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical and Theological Studies from Bethel University, which established a foundation for understanding leadership through the lens of faith, character, and service.
Early in my career I also founded Cross Training Ministries, a non-profit inner-city training facility focused on developing young people physically, mentally, and spiritually. The goal was simple—provide a place where youth could grow through discipline, mentorship, and faith-centered development.
Those experiences continue to shape my work today.
Alongside my coaching career, I have consistently invested in leadership development by mentoring athletes and coaches, leading leadership groups, and facilitating Bible studies focused on helping people grow in their faith and leadership.
Today I also serve as an Adjunct Professor at Concordia University Irvine, teaching within the Master's program in Coaching and Athletic Administration, including a course on Faith-Based Coaching that equips coaches to lead with integrity and impact both on and off the field.
At the heart of everything I do is a passion for helping people grow—not only as leaders, but as individuals who live with purpose and conviction.
My desire is to see men, leaders, families, and teams develop the character, discipline, and leadership necessary to build strong cultures and lasting impact.
Most importantly, I am passionate about helping people grow in their faith and become passionate followers of Christ, living lives marked by intentionality, service, and purpose.
I coach men and leaders to live with intentionality, lead with passion, and pursue purpose in their faith, families, and teams.
I’ve spent decades inside competitive environments where pressure exposes what is real. As a coach, director, and leader across high school, college, and championship-level programs, I learned this: talent matters — but culture and conviction matter more.
My work today centers on developing Christian men and building leadership systems that hold under stress. Faith is not sentiment. It is structure. Discipline. Integrity. Ownership.
Whether I’m coaching an individual man, a leadership group, or an entire team, the foundation remains the same:
- Biblical truth
- Clear standards
- Daily habits
- Relational accountability
